Her paintings are a conversation with the viewer which starts while she's working in a tiny studio high up in the northeast corner of an old house. The panels they're on are tiny but the scenes take months to complete because they're painted in many layers. The panels themselves are small to be like something from a cabinet of curiosities - peculiar bits of the world collected to be examined close up.
