Based in New York City, Kizzy Kalu is a 25-year-old visual artist, self-taught in photography and film production. Never quite fitting into the United State's social boxes as a half-Uruguayan, half-Nigerian first-generation American, I am driven to create work that speaks to the universal elements of the human experience. Pulling from dreams, video games, and vintage advertising as inspiration, I create visual worlds the uncommon person can relate to.
