About the artist

Katherine Arion

I am a painter, muralist, and printmaker. I've shown my work in Europe and the U.S. Recent exhibitions have taken place in Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. I live for my art and am fascinated by the abstract. Past achievements include shows at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Ashkenazy Art Gallery, and Galerie Charpentier in Paris.

I painted a 2000-square-foot mural of Sequoia Trees for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Authority which was semi-abstract. I developed an original technique for small prints from etchings using gold foil. I am fascinated by esoteric elements as a form of expression, and am trying to understand the essence of my soul.
