I wanted to be a painter since I was in the fourth grade, though nobody in my family was involved in art. I have lived off the sale of my work for most of the prior 3 decades. I seek to present an emotional, physical, erotic, spiritual and intellectual image, metaphorically reflective of our contemporary world, mainly of women and men, usually nude, painting as a woman who is physically, emotionally, and intellectually involved in that process and in life.
