Isabella Mebarak was born in Barranquilla, Colombia with Lebanese descent. At six years old she moved with her family to Miami, Florida. After elementary school, she auditioned for an arts middle school. Since accepted, she continued in magnet art schools until college. After one semester as a presidential scholar at Otis College of Arts and Design, Isabella dropped out and moved to Spain to pursue a more traditional atelier style training. Two years later she moved to Italy, to continue learning from the masters and learn Italian. Unfortunately, the pandemic struck and she was forced to move back to Miami. She tried to integrate herself into the miami arts scene, but feeling uninspired and unchallenged, she moved to Brooklyn, NY. Isabella currently lives and works between NYC and Miami, where she is working on larger paintings, sculpture and community based work.
