In Scream into Water, I extend these ideas through sound and sculptural installation. The project transforms raw expressions of grief and frustration into the sounds of water, reflecting the cyclical nature of sorrow and renewal. A repurposed phone booth serves as both a sculptural object and a private space for catharsis. Inside, participants release their voices in solitude, while outside, their transformed screams spill into public space as waves crashing, rivers rushing, or lakes rippling. This act of sonic alchemy mirrors the way grief reshapes itself over time.
