During my last painting trip to Cuba, I was fortunate enough to met the most excellent Freddie, keeper of this awesome 1955 Buick Roadmaster, which had belonged to his father. My sweetheart Betty and I painted a study or two of his pride and joy at the Parque Almandares, and I took many photographs. I started on a 16x32 in the studio after I returned, and my pal Jim Burrows took dibs on it before it was even close to being done. So in early July, I did this little oil and encaustic, based on the larger oil. Shhhhh.... don't tell Jim.
