Daughters of Utah Pioneers marker, 446. Metal plaque set into brick monument. From the inscription: "On January 6, 1881, a committee was appointed...who recommended building a social hall. With materials scarce and labor plentiful, the schoolhouse in the old Fort was dismantled, brick by brick, and reassembled at the new location to become known as the 'Social Hall"...The Social Hall was used for church, school, dances, dramatics, funerals, civic and social needs. No. 446. 1988. Iron Mission, Aunt Margaret and Coal Creek Camps."
