Cedar City Cemetery, 685 North Main Street, Cedar City. Historical Significance. The original wall was built in 1886. The monument is stone or stone façade with a metal information plaque. From the information plaque: "Cedar City Historic Pioneer Cemetery Wall[:] The reconstruction of the historic pioneer cemetery was completed in August 1994 as a memorial to the stalwart Mormon pioneers who settled this part of the American West and who originally built and dedicated the wall in the year 1886. It was rededicated to their memory on August 9, 1994." The wall has undergone many repairs since its reconstruction. The monument is located near the center of the cemetery.
