Entitled "Keeper of the Memories We Abandon”, this sculpture captures the ephemeral beauty of childhood memories. The intricate tree, meticulously crafted from recycled copper wire, rises from a semi-precious amethyst crystal druzy, its gnarled roots seemingly drawing sustenance from the past. The copper leaves, twisted into delicate, swirling forms, shimmer with the warmth of a long-ago summer sun. A tiny, forgotten bicycle, also made of wire, leans against the tree, a silent testament to days filled with adventure and scraped knees. The amethyst druzy, with its deep purple hues and sparkling crystalline points, serves as the perfect foundation, representing the bedrock of memory upon which our past is built. This piece is a tangible whisper of nostalgia, a reminder of the carefree days that, while lost to time, continue to shape us.
