Modern Quilted Art- original inspiration was a vintage quilt from the 1930s that was a two color pinwheel design. Fabric printed from my original macro photographs of textures in nature. Hexagons are created from twelve pie-shaped pieces of random fabric textures, creating a spinning pinwheel design. Quilted on a domestic machine.
