Striped Spirit, 2024. Soft Pastel on Paper, $475. Based on a zebra I photographed at Dickerson Park Zoo, this soft pastel drawing highlights the zebra's bold and flashy coat pattern. While nature's original purpose for his stripes is to help him blend into his surroundings, this piece shows that they also make him stand out from the rest.
