“Smile Like Michael” is a vibrant tribute to one of the most iconic artists of our time — Michael Jackson.
Created by Afro-Fauvist artist Richard Yumba, this piece radiates joy, color, and rhythm — much like the King of Pop himself. The bold brushstrokes and emotional palette reflect a deep love for his music, his dance, and the everlasting spirit of childhood he carried in his soul.
As a child, I grew up dancing to Michael’s music, learning breakdance from his videos, and smiling every time I heard his voice. This piece is more than a portrait — it’s a celebration of joy, hope, and movement.
