"This sculpture is inspired by the ancient Bronze Aged holed stones in Cornwall. In the past people believed that they possessed magical healing powers and if you could pass through the hole, you would cure back pain or tuberculosis and even boost fertility!
The hole in the stone is thought to have been created by erosion from running water, but I wonder if they have also been carved by hand, they are very beautiful and one day I would like to visit them all." Sue Kirk
