Scott Zimmer is a Kingston, New York–based artist working in ceramics, painting, and garden design. A third-generation artist, he studied architecture at Pratt Institute before working on major New York City restoration projects, including the Empire State Building and City Hall. He later earned an MFA in Ceramics from SUNY New Paltz and completed residencies at institutions such as the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts and the Kohler Arts/Industry Program. Alongside his studio practice, Zimmer is an established garden designer and founded Zimmer Gardens in 2013, integrating his interest in landscape and art.
