Stalks was first inspired while walking past one of our neighbor's corn field. The cow corn was just about ready to harvest. Every thing, including the stalks and husks had turned golden brown to beige. Ever fascinated with the world around me I took a number of photographs and went home and found this particular portion of one of my photographs especially enticing. I like the shapes of the leaves and the glimpse of the corn inside.
This gallery wrapped Painting has the image continue around the sides. Varnished to protect the surface from the elements.
