There are some things vintage that never should be lost. Teddy Bear collections have been a part of my life since I turned 16. I even built a wall shadow box to house my stuffed bears. Vintage Dreams is to honor those who love bears like I do. This lovely twined metal heart with a resin Bear added inside. Both are parts from jewelry pieces that sold new for over $25 apiece. Tapestry is trimmed with a beautiful pink and silver colored bracelet. Tapesty is 4" wide x 8" long including the hanger. Hanger is a dusted cream metal drawer pull that offers a unique topping to this unusual tapestry. Created with fuzzy solft cream chenille, popcorn fur, cotton string, linen, feather, ladder and schimmery string yarns - all repurposed yarns.

These creative pieces are hand woven on an old fashion metal loom. Yarns are a variety of material, mostly unique one of a kind. Many will have yarns of cotton, wool, linen, mohair, faux furs, string yarns, flag yarn, ladder, ribbon, silks, rayon, polyester, velvet, chenille and anything unusual. Everything goes through a rigorous cleaning, winding into a ball, color sorted and showcase unusual yarns to become the centerpiece of a new tapestry. Jewelry pieces are found treasures that often are the inspiration for the tapestry. You may find a bracelet, pieces of jewelry taken apart and reworked, pin or a whimsical accent all of high grade vintage jewelry. Items are cleaned with alcohol and refurbished to sparkle and enliven these works of art. Many will often have swarvski crystals added into these works of art. Hanger is a metal decorative handle (recommend using a decorative nail to hang as shown - these are not included) that finishes the artwork for unique display.
