Hand woven fibers create a tapestry full of vibrant colors for our butterflies to rest on.
A favorite of mine, I have loved showing this one off and will be sad to let it go.
These fibers contain a beautiful silky soft multi color popcorn chenille with eyelash, A soft purple popcorn chenille, string yarn, deep teal chenille string, ribbon, soft angora type found treasures. Unique jewelry find from a bracelet, each link different from each other. Notice crystal accents are part of these metal pieces. Truly a wonderful find to accent this tapestry.

These creative pieces are hand woven on an old fashion metal loom. Yarns are a variety of material, mostly unique one of a kind. Many will have yarns of cotton, wool, linen, mohair, faux furs, string yarns, flag yarn, ladder, ribbon, silks, rayon, polyester, velvet, chenille and anything unusual. Everything goes through a rigorous cleaning, winding into a ball, color sorted and showcase unusual yarns to become the centerpiece of a new tapestry. Jewelry pieces are found treasures that often are the inspiration for the tapestry. You may find a bracelet, pieces of jewelry taken apart and reworked, pin or a whimsical accent all of high grade vintage jewelry. Items are cleaned with alcohol and refurbished to sparkle and enliven these works of art. Many will often have swarvski crystals added into these works of art. Metal link necklace that finishes the artwork for unique display.
My recently found vintage metal loom prompted exploration into boxes of scrap yarns, fibers & vintage jewelry that I have collected for a decade. In 2021, mini fiber art tapestry’s were born from these found treasures. Each piece of artwork takes hours searching for treasured fibers to combine textures, colors and design to infuse nostalgic harmony with the vintage jewelry accents.
One of a kind limited works of art will be produced until the box of found treasures are gone.
