Lone Peak on Lone Mountain has an elevation of 11,166ft. With 300 degrees of in-bounds skiing & 360 degree views, it's a do not miss!

Lone Peak-68 to 69 million years ago there was a massive magma intrusion into the sedimentary layer here. This strengthened the surrounding rock so that is was able to resist the glacial erosion that wore away the neighboring heights, leaving a glacial horn, a pointed peak, alone.
