Arkansas Arboretum Trail near Pinnacle Mountain State Park near Little Rock, Arkansas, USA was a treasure trove of colorful and entertaining fungi on the ground and on the trees. When I identified this Violet Fringed Bracket Fungi I was delighted because the mundane top visible side suddenly turned upside down to reveal its real shy beauty.
