The spring day I went to Petit Jean State Park was as refreshing as a well-fit glove. I've taken this photo several times over many years, but the sun is usually so intense and the colors so washed that the photo is less than outstanding.
However, this day the clouds lazily passed over Petit Jean and the wide, brown Arkansas River below the pinnacle not only giving my exposure a break, but at the farthest reaches of the horizon, giving me a bokeh effect of a million little rays of the sun.
I dehazed the horizon and gave the overall more clarity.
