the inspiration for this painting comes from a TED talk of one photographer photographs the abandoned malls and shops in America. The background of this painting is done with a wash of ink and in the middle of the canvas is a depiction of a broken escalator in malls. the left side figure is composed of the upper body of greek status that I found in Art Institute of Chicago and bottom half is images I found online.
