At Least 4000 Holes
Closer to home, Canada’s history of Colonial genocide on its own indigenous people is still ongoing. Justifying our own genocide with terms like ‘resource management’ is certainly no comfort to the thousands of children lost as part of the Residential School program. The government of Canada through Truth and Reconciliation acknowledges the over 4000 graves found, but this is far from the total number, or any kind of acknowledgement.
