‘Momento Mori - a reflection on the skull of Saint Valentine’ is part of an ongoing series of studies by artist Thomas Bucich based on his fascination for iconographic ancient sacred relics. This one is based on the skull reliquary of Saint Valentine found in the Roman Basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin.
