Primordial Landscapes

Sydney based artist Anthony Buselli is best known for his dramatic coastal and urban landscapes that play a tug o’ war with their photographic sources and their abstracted treatment. Depicting a complex play of light in space and emphasising surface painterly effects these images are laden with memory and the passing of time.

Since completing his Masters in Fine Arts at UNSW in 2004, Buselli has participated in numerous exhibitions. He has also been a finalist in the Salon De Refuses, Wynne and Mosman Art Prizes and was awarded People's Choice in the Paddington Art Prize 2023.
