Sundrenched Tree & Shadowed Fence

Sunlight doesn't choose a single tree over another tree to saturate with its light or which part to cast in shadow or bathe in warmth. It is a constantly changing environment...which part is light and which part is shadow. Trees and Human alike, exist in both light and in shadow. No, the Sunlight doesn't choose, it moves. Light and Shade existing together. I am a painter, inspired by the Australian Landscape, I am a passionate explorer of colour. My work is primarily Impressionist in style at at times Abstract in colour and composition. I was inspired by this sundrenched tree, the colour spectrum of yellows and greens lit against the fence in shadow. I saw it as a metaphor for the light and shade all around us, existing together.
