While visiting Anchor Wat in Cambodia this woman and boy in traditional Cambodian attire appeared and for an instant I was transported back in time. To best represent the ethereal feeling I had when viewing this couple on site, I chose to let much of the underpainting show through as a ghost image and to keep the details at a minimum. As I continue to cherish this piece I'm often wondering what they might of have been talking about, and sometimes even if they were there at all.
