Desire is a warm-color botanical painting. It's inspired by my walks in local gardens and my exploration of sunlight filtering through tree branches and leaves. This painting is part of an ongoing Circle Collection series. It's painted on a re-purposed vinyl record. My art studio is a place for exploration. I invented a unique hanging system by mounting the record to a panel. I love how the circles give the impression of floating when displayed. As of June 2025, I am creating 12 more paintings for the Circle Collection. Themes include: moon and stars, leaves and sunlight, swimming pool blue reflections, and napping cats.
