In creating this piece, I imagined two innocent and beautiful ducklings resting side by side, gently touching. The soft, downy feathers and peaceful expressions, highlight the comfort of their slumber. Their sleepy expressions convey peace, comfort, and solace symbolizing a deep bond of love and trust.
My primary focus in this piece is the closeness and trust evident in the positioning of the ducklings nestled together, their little eyes closed in restful peace.
I used a soft and harmonious palette of gentle yellows, creams, and warm browns. I also employed a scoring technique to create the delicately soft feathers.
