"Cosmos" by Jay Dugen rises gracefully from the center of the Connelly Center Koi Pond. Nestled among lush greenery, the circular shapes comprising "Cosmos" evoke the phases of the moon. These shapes seamlessly transition into one another, making it impossible to discern where one ends and the next begins. Sculpted in soft green stone, the piece exudes serenity—a striking contrast to the bustling atmosphere of the Connelly Center. This work serves as a smaller companion to "Awakening," affectionately known on campus as “The Oreo.”
