Artist: Victoria Donohoe (1929-2018)
Victoria Donohoe (1929-2018) was an American artist, art critic, and historian based in Philadelphia's Main Line. After attending Rosemont College, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Pope Pius XII Institute-Graduate School of Fine Arts for Women, Donohoe taught art and wrote for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Catholic Times, where she was revered for her honest and graceful critiques.
Donohoe's work mainly consists of oil landscapes, portraits, and illuminated manuscripts. She was granted an honorary doctorate in fine arts from Villanova University in 1985.
