  • Artist: O'Neil Scott

O'Neil Scott is a contemporary artist based in West Chester, PA. Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, Scott moved to the United States during early childhood and later attended the University of Syracuse and the University of Delaware. Scott is a self-taught artist who specializes in large-scale oil paintings that deal with themes of growth and overcoming.

The Villanova Art Gallery hosted an exhibition in 2023 of Scott's works titled "Overcome Everything". In 2024, the university acquired two of Scott's paintings ("Hunger Has A Silver Lining" and "Grow Through It") through a student-led acquisition project with the help of a generous donation.
