  • Artist: Ethel Lunenfeld (American, 1918-1998)

Ethel Lunenfeld, born 1918, is known for her colorful watercolor pieces. Many of her works depict flowers though her work ranges from still life to abstract figures. She passed away in 1998. Lunenfeld was especially inspired by The Philadelphia Orchestra and it served as a subject for a prolific body of work in oil, watercolor and pen, and ink drawings. Lunenfeld was a graduate of The Philadelphia College of Art and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Tyler School of Art and The Barnes Foundation.
