A fine quality 17th C oil painting on cardled panel attributed to Pierre I Mignard. The frame tag also identifies the sitter as Henry Duke of Gloucester. It is a potrait of a nobleman set against a landscape with a hand painted frame like elaborate oval background. The panel has been reinforced with a cradle on reverse.
