Xinyu Wo is a visual artist who was born in Ningbo, China in 1996 ， now works in Shanghai and New York. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in oil painting from the China Academy of Fine Arts, where she is now studying MFA at the Fine Art of Visual Arts in New York. Her latest exhibition is in East Gallery in Nanjing, during which she was awarded with Kaiyuan Scholarship and Academic Original Creative Exhibition -- Sponsor Special in Hangzhou and Beijing Award. Her works are usually in the form of short videos, and she will create some installations and small ruler paintings on the same theme. She likes to express her concern about the spiritual connection between people in the modern society with a surreal visual approach, and studies the collective subconscious by combining her personal history and social status. Her paintings have been collected by Kaiyuan company, and have been collected by many individuals.
