  • Artist: Lee Tal

Originally from Israel, Lee Tal (b.1983) is a conceptual and multi-disciplinary artist now based in New York. The goal of Tal’s work is to create solutions for artistic and spiritual equations. Tal is constantly exploring the boundaries between sculptures and paintings by incorporating sculptural concepts into painted images. The unexpected combinations of the spiritual aspects of conceptual art and the mundane pop-culture objects in pop art altogether unfold the liminal possibilities of minimalism, conceptual work, and pop art.

Tal’s work has been featured in the CICA Museum (South Korea), SeJong Museum of Art (Seoul), MASin museum (Mexico), the Susquehanna Art Museum (PA), Whitney Museum (NY), The Hole Gallery (NY), and the NARS Foundation (NY).
