Each plaque was taken wet to a Woburn garden. I spent a while selecting plants that had interesting structures which I then impressed into the clay trying not to press too hard which ruin the shape of each plaque. After a few days the plaques were completely dry. To enhance the impressions and marks, ink was painted on and into the deep impressions. Once dry, the plaque was sealed with varnish.
