Russian filigree, granulation, and keum boo amulet on an 18 in, 2-directional double-weave chain

This amulet was my path back to working after the premature birth of my son by emergency C-section in 1999. Although I didn't realize it until I'd completed the piece, it is a conceptual self-portrait.
