I want my painting to be interesting for a long period of time. Figure ground ambiguity is a major vehicle for me, to paint a kind of visual confusion.
Message
Working with the secondary lines - created by gaps in the ground - I tried wider ground lines. While the drawing is rather more subtle than I had hoped, I find it a beautiful painting.
