Growing unique plants suited especially to their wetland, spring fed soil is a challenge. the former owners of our property met that challenge well. They chose to grow a variety technically called "Coltsfoot" and its giant leaved plants are ideally suited for this hillside location. The plants can be seen sprouting early in the season but do not reach their full bloom and size until the heat of the summer. A truly inspiring view to behold outside my studio window. The 3 other companion pieces make a stunning group hanging for any wall.
