After seeing two Grackle Birds playing in a puddle at the gas station, I took photos (of course); then I started researching their characteristic. They stand for communication, bravery and family because they will do anything to protect the family! This is just what I wanted to use in my series "Bird's Eye View". I chose to use them to represent humans for my story telling. This painting depicts a Grackle amongst all the obstacles we have to overcome in this life.
