A very beautiful large signed oil on canvas by Andre Fraye depicting a woman by the banks of a river. He was a pupil of Maxime Maufra and a friend of Albert Gleizes. He was compared with Van Dongen and Marquet - he exhibited at the Salon D’Automne from 1911 and at the other major Paris Salons - his work can be found in numerous museums.
