A very beautiful and large signed oil on canvas by Carmelo Castellano who was born in Spain but worked in France. He was a prominent member of the "Groupo Z” who were avant garde spanish painters from Valencia that formed in the 1940’s. He exhibited all over Europe and notably at the major Paris galleries as well as shows at the Grand Palais and elsewhere - extensively across Europe.
