About the artist and her ties to Pratt:
Hello, I live in Langdon, North Dakota, which is in the very northeastern corner of the state, just 17 miles from Canada. I was raised on a small grain farm and a country girl I'll always be! I also have ties to Pratt in a couple ways. My Dad was Don Borho and he did custom harvesting in the area with stops ranging from Sharon to Medicine Lodge, Cullison and Preston. Pratt was the hub of operations while in the area. A lot of teenage boys spent their summers with my Dad, including my oldest brother David. David vowed that as soon as possible after high school and college he was never going to endure a cold North Dakota winter again and Pratt has gained a very fine citizen since 1975. Also, I Iived not quite in Pratt, but Iuka, and later a few miles east, for 10 years(1984-1994). I remember a lot of wonderful people from Pratt and one of my dearest friends in the world lives in Haviland. I still miss Pratt at times and also miss the Club D'Est, Dragon's Den and The Chapeau! My oldest son, Kris, also was on the harvest crew a few years.
What started out as just snapping a few pictures of wheatfields at sunset, has developed into a passion; a passion for and appreciation of wildlife and nature. I hope you enjoy having this very beautiful creature in your home. It is a pleasure to share my photography with you, as it is truly sharing a little piece of myself.
