This piece was inspired by the massive development in Miami.
Jerom, my neigbohr, represent the local Miamian who feel push out from their own neighborhoods. They need to move further away from their home due to drastic changes around them. The beautiful, fancy developments are not part of their lives... nor they can afford it. The background is inspired by "Brickell City Center" a $1,05 billion shopping & mixed-used project in Miami.
"Jerom" participated a group show called "Paint Me Miami"
which was help in Little Haiti Cultural Center, 2018.
