This colorful leopard sitting in a meadow, is just like the one I had seen on a visit to Kenya. He was super alert and ready to catch its prey when sighted or to flee if the tourists came too close. Leopards are very graceful in motion and not frequently seen in safaris. While not endangered , they are a threatened species. I painted this on a golden canvas in bright semi -representational colors to give a sense of light radiating from inside him telling humanity to protect them.
