This piece addresses the restraints and conceptions put upon spouses (especially women) to maintain certain physical standards. Additionally, it addressed the mental stress that is experienced: anxiety.
As all in the series, this work is created through a process that mirrors military life. Passages and areas are painted over, redrawn and repainted. Except, with each pass- areas are left open so that the previous layer remains visible.
