American photographer. Morgan was born in Buffalo, Kansas, but raised in southern California. She attended UCLA and taught design, woodcut, and painting there for 5 years. She married William Morgan (1925) and moved to New York City (1930), where she took up photography. She is best known for her photography in modern dance.
