Collection: WDAV

The Newell Building is home to WDAV 89.9, a public radio service of Davidson College and licensed to the Trustees of Davidson College. WDAV provides classical music and cultural arts programming of the highest quality.

Built in 2001-02 specifically to house WDAV radio station, the building is named for Dr. Samuel W. Newell, Jr '39 and minister of Davidson College Presbyterian Church from 1953 to 1961. Works from the Davidson College Art Collection are installed throughout the hallways and meeting spaces.  Located at 423 N Main St, Davidson, NC 28036, building open hours vary.
