Gift of John Andrew MacMahon, Class of 1995
"Maybe Babies" typifies Skoglund’s style photographing her elaborate staged tableaus that leave the viewer questioning the imagery and narrative. An elderly man looks through the window of a small home, seemingly oblivious to the numerous babies in various shades of pink, blue, and purple tumble through the air. It is set at night with several glowing green ribbons sprouting from the ground.
